Financing

We have had a preliminary consultation with Nafco who has agreed to provide financing of the Raptor for our customers. Here is a summary of the program. Please keep in mind that the rates given are estimates and may change.
OK, you have a deposit in for your Raptor and at some point your number will be next. We will contact you and confirm that you are ready for us to begin. If you are not we will ask you for a date some time in the future when you would like us to contact you again. You will remain next in line when that date comes around so you are effectively always next when you say the word.
When you are ready for us to begin here is how things will proceed:
- You will send us $7,800 which is %20 of the first %30 of the total price of the aircraft.
- We will begin construction of your air frame.
- You will begin making a monthly payment of either $197 (20 year loan fixed @ 4.5%) or $323 (10 year loan fixed @ 4.5%)
- Your air frame is almost complete so you arrive at our facility for the 2 week program to close out some of the structures and install landing gear, elevator, ailerons, flight controls and such.
- Your air frame is complete and you head back home
- You send us the next $7,800 which is 20% of the next 30% of the total price of the aircraft
- we transfer your air frame to the build completion center
- Your monthly payment doubles to $394 (20 year loan) or $646 (10 year loan)
- Your air frame has the engine, avionics and interior installed and goes off for either a basic paint job or vinyl wrap
- Your aircraft has it's first flight
- You send us $10,000 which is 20% of the remaining 40% less your initial deposit (varies slightly depending on what your deposit was)
- You arrive for transition training or we deliver your aircraft and a qualified instructor provides training at your location. If you need primary training that will be offered as well. In fact any level of training will be offered but transistion training will be mandatory.
- Your total monthly payment will then be either $683 (20 year loan) or $1119 (10 year loan)
As you can see, with this program the Raptor is really affordable. Now if you decide to buy into it with 3 other friends and finance it over 20 years and split the costs each person will have the following:
$500 deposit
$1950 initial down payment
$49.25 initial monthly payment
$1950 second down payment
$98.50 new monthly payment
$2500 final down payment
$170.75 final monthly payment for 20 years
Add a little more for hangar space and a little more again for insurance.
Now you and your 3 friends have a time machine that can take all of you together anywhere in the world for about 2 cents a mile each (38 mpg on diesel fuel at $3/gal split 4 ways). Does it get any better than that?
We will update these numbers when they are confirmed but you could expect something close to this. Insurance rates should be very favorable given the low price of replacement of the aircraft and the total number of aircraft that will be flying after the first few years and will certainly be lower than the rates on a Cirrus, Cessa or Diamond once the Raptor is established.

We have had a preliminary discussion with a reputable finance company who has given us some rough estimates of the financing they may be able to provide for Raptor customers. Here is a summary of the possible program. Please keep in mind that the rates given are estimates and may change.
